There is just no getting around it. People were so rude and mean to me, I had to work so late, and when I came home all I wanted to do was eat my feelings. It was awful. I was rummaging through drawers for pizza menus and feeling like a hungry bear when I realized...I don't want pizza. I want to feel better. And stuffing my pie hole with a pizza isn't going to make it better. Not to mention I'll feel worse when I look at the scale.
So what did I do? I got my Jenny Craig Salisbury Steak and put it in the microwave. And I ate that for dinner! I feel better now. I am relaxing, I'm drinking some water (getting in those 10 glasses! I just made it yesterday!) and watching TV. I got my exercise in today for sure...running up and down the stairs 12 times anyone? Followed by walking around the buildings. I wish I'd had time to do more...and now that I'm home I'm so exhausted I can hardly move. But the exercise bike may be in my future.
My dress arrived today!!! It's SO CUTE!! I didn't even attempt to try it on because I don't want to mess it but man is it cute! I cannot wait to fit into it! And I'm on my way! I had another serving of the Kashi pizza for lunch today and it was awesome. Tasted amazing! And for breakfast I had my Jenny Craig breakfast stuffed sandwich. Yum yum! For a special treat I'm going to have a Skinny Cow caramel cone for dessert. HOORAY!
Tomorrow I have a CPR training class and then am going to stop by and see some friends. The weekend looks blissfully quiet though, yay!

ReplyDeleteI have yet to have a major temptation, I hope I can be as strong as you. Keep up with those Spring Chick goals, you're doing awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you didn't end up eating the pizza. You'd have felt even worse afterwards. Great job on getting in your exercise. That's the direction that leads to success! :-)
ReplyDeleteRude people suck, don't they? Pat on the back for the way you handled it.
ReplyDeleteI know how stressful work can be! I work in retail and it can be so unforgiving! You did a great job of recognizing what was causing those feelings and made great choices. Good job!
